I checked the OG waveform against the tuned one. Again on my system it shows no latency, I'm on PT 6.4. now if I throw a renn comp on a channel then there is latency. Renn eq, no latency etc...

if you're really serious about getting a good result i would take the time to slice out the out of tune bits ... whack them on a seperate track....either autotune them or better yet whack em into melodyne.
that way you leave the rest in tact, in time and un f***ed with.
