TC Helicon Voice Prism Plus

Any feedback on this unit?

I am looking for a killer live voice processor for effects and such (maybe harmonies) as well as a solid studio piece that I can get some milage out of.

Also, how is the built in mic pre?

It's great for harmonies (human sounding and otherwise). The 'Plus' part is fun to work with as you can take a rather thin voice and beef it up. The effects are usable. The mic-pre is so-so.
It's a fun machine to work with.

Be carefull of older units as they supposedly had noise problems.

There might be a fix for the older units. I recall talking to someone at TC Works/Electronics in California about the unit and they made some mention of it.
