patchbay, soldering or db25??

How do you guys prefer a TT patchbay, solder points or DB25? and why?

I have both, my internal patchbay on my console is DB25, the external bays a solder bays, I've mainly had solder bays, if you do it right and strain relief it right it should last forever

If you want quick disconnect, then go 90 pin Elco/Edac's.

actualy once I setup a patchbay I almost never go in a change things in there, unless something is not working and I check if everything is right in there

I asked this cause I've heard audiophiles and studio designers say that to use a DB25 computer type connector is like no a good thing to trust, and that soldering cables the old school way is like the purist way to go

plus, the cost is so different, so... I don't know what to do

I'm with Tonio, I pretty much never have to go back there and I'm not afraid of soldering .
