Channel Jumping or Signal Split?

I'm using a Valvetech Hayseed 15 head, with the EF86 preamp. When I plug into the High input of one channel, and connect the Low input of that channel to the High input of the other channel (IOW, "jumping"), ya think the efficiency is different than if I used, say, a Lehle P-Split, and ran two separate lines into the (High, of course) inputs?
