Distressor: Scratchy Pots

Hi, one of my distressors has scratchy pots and I'd like to know what's the best way to go about cleaning them?

sometimes all you have to do is turn the knob a bunch of times and it gets better.
I had a noisy pot in one of my old distressors (10 years) and the guys at empirical labs replaced all my old knobs for free and sent it back the next day.

great service, give them a call

I remember when mine was brand new it had a scratchy feel with 2 of the knobs. Didn't effect the sound. I guess I broke it in cuz now they are all smooth.

DeoxIT works great...used to use it all the time at a music store doing repairs. It's basically a contact cleaner and lube, spray it in the pots and they'll be like new again. You can find it at radioshack or guitar center I believe
