Best deal you ever did

When buying a gear, what was the best deal you ever got?

It can be on a trade, new, refurb, vintage, whatever... That item you say on a positive way: "i can't believe i payed that for this piece of gear".

Mine was a used Frahm Bass Amp and a Tonante bass (both brazilian made gear). The bass is really crappy, but i sold later for the price i paid on both. But the amp was my return speaker for tons of parties i played as a dj, during years. Loud as hell to play house/trance/progressive. Never failed me, never. Best deal i've ever did.

The other great deal i had was to keep and take care of a Fender Princeton Chorus (made in USA) guitar amp while my friend did college in Italy. Those were five wonder years with it. I returned it two months ago.

Well, I don't know which was the "best", but the really good ones are:

1956 Supro tube amp for $5.00 (needed a fuse).
1972 Fender Champ for $5.00 (needed a fuse).
1964 Kay amp for free (no name on it, so it must not be worth anything).
1985 Cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul Custom (very rare with the Gibson/Kahler locking trem) with hsc for $400.00.
