UAD-2: Protools or Sonar?

Hey guys,

I have a dilemma...
Looking for a new DAW control surface + s/w

Proud owner of a UAD-2 (Solo, need to buy some siblings for this thing lol)

Been looking at Digi 003 Console ($3000) or Sonar V-Studio 700 Set ($4000)

Primary concern: MUST be compatible with my UAD-2 without a single problem. I don't want to troubleshoot, use 3rd-party ADC's, whatever. Looking for OOTB compatibility.

I would prefer using ProTools vs Sonar simply because it's an "industry standard."
However, I think the Sonar package has a lot more bang for buck for music production and such, but ProTools is the heavyweight in this world.

Im leaning towards the Sonar V-Studio 700 b/c... 1) great with VST's and UAD's 2) lots of bundled complete software, synths, plugs, etc.. 3) v. well-reviewed unit 4) all I will ever need for my home studio

The Protools pro's 1) industry standard. 2) saves me relearning a new daw

Suggestions greatly appreciated, esp from existing UAD-2 users who have been RTAS'ing their UAD's into PT, either through mellowmuse or otherwise.

My PC: quad-core, 64-bit W7, 8gb ram. I beast, so im not worried.

Thanks a bunch.
