Searching for a 24-bit recorder with MIDI

Hi there,

I'm looking for a 24-bit recorder with midi and spdif input and output. I want to record a single mono track of vocals through my A/D converter that will stay in time with my other midi modules and samplers. Can anyone point me in the direction of anything inexpensive that would do this? So far I've only seen the Akai Z4 sampler.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I've never looked at them too closely, but I bet the Roland VS series has midi i/o and will lock up to MTC.

And you could pick up a used one dirt cheap.
