Gear´s depreciation

Hello everyone,

I have a business question with shade of technical meaning about building a studio. I have to write a business plan, and i should point the depreciation of my studio gear. I know that the basic coefficient of factory gear is 10%/year. What about the studio gear? Are there any tables avaible regarding my question?

Thanks,
Tony

p.s sorry for english.

I don't know if this has anything to do with a "business" plan but for federal tax purposes gear is often depreciated on a five year basis, with the actual percentage being:

year 1-15%
year 2-22%
year 3-22%
year 4-22%
year 5-remainder

I'm sure there are many other plans and variations, but that is the way I was taught and have been doing it for tax purposes on recording gear for 35 years. Depreciation for property tax is an entirely different animal.
