Help: Need to write ISRC codes

Hi friends
Just now Brazilian plants are asking for ISRC codes to be written to the Cd masters we send them.
I have TOAST 5.0.2 and Masterlist 2.1( do not want to go back to it and the annoying scsi burners that had already died on here).
Which one(s) would you recommend me once I am a MAC G4 800/OS 9.2/PT 5.1.1 TDM user?
Thanks in advance

Are you seeking a new burnner or software?

Jam that comes with "Toast Titanium + Jam" does write ISRC codes, Wave Burner should do.

In fact I am looking for the software. I use the internal G4 800 burner. Toast does not write ISRC.

Thanks

Bleen, I have just installed Wave burner, it shall be an older version. I can not burn CDs, the item is greayed. at first it said there was a pad error, so it would not play or burn cds.
I rebooted the machine, now it plays but can not record.

I still have Toast 5.0.2 in the same G4 800 under MAC OS 9.2.

I ask the software to look for the sony internal burner and it says it does not exist. so, what am I missing?
Thanks in advance
( I need to deliver some ISRCed masters and still with some difficulty rolling..

Alecio, what version of WBPro did you install? You should be running 2.2.1 to ensure that it sees your burner.

Nope, that one won't do it. WBPro 2.0 was the first version to recognize the internal burners. 2.2.1 is the most stable version since that time.

Toast won't cut ISRC codes, but the new version of Jam will according to a post above. Can you get the update as a Toast 5 owner?

Toast with Jam Upgrade - if you already own Toast Titanium, you can download Jam 5 for US$69.95 - this might be the way for you to go.

Blenn, I have just read the ISRC search at Toast+JAm forum page and it seems to be a pain in the ass. have you been able to do the coding fine?
Lots of people complaining about missing ISRCs, ISRC´s being zeroed and so.

What about the other folks?

I've only used WaveburnerPro to cut ISRC's, so I can't help with the Toast/Jam thing. I only use Toast for burning backup CD-ROM's & DVD's. I don't have Jam 5...sorry.

There have been lots of problems with this sort of thing in "consumer" cd burning software. I don't think most of those developers have ever bothered to buy even rudimentary test gear.

To digidesign's credit, they DID buy test gear and MasterList CD has not had those kinds of problems. It's clunky and has no useable signal processing but at least it makes an error-free disk. I've been testing Waveburner (for myself) and so far it's looking pretty reasonable.
