Yes, we've all gone over this over and over, but please indulge me with your opinion.

I'm having to transition out of Soft Sample Cell so I can upgrade to PT6.
I'm running a HD3 system on a G4 466 with 768 of memory.

At some point I'll need to upgrade my mac, switching over to PT6.

So for programming orchestral/piano driven pop, what would you get as far as hardware and software?

1) Would you get a PC and run Giga (even at this stage in it's development)
2) Would you get another Mac and run Logic and ESX24 on a seperate computer
3) Would you get a new mac and Mach5

I like the idea of having another computer and running the show, but if Mach5 is going to live up to the hype and will truly playback Giga/ESX sample without translating them horribly, then I love the recallability of something like Mach 5 as well as not having to have something chase MTC.

Thanks...
