Studio Projects C1 'vocals' with FMR RNP?

Has anyone tried this chain? I'm going to be recording basically everything with the RNP, and I'm wondering if the C1/RNP chain on female vocals will be good, or if maybe I should go for something else. Maybe the Brick? Can't really afford much more than $400... and will have to sell some crap to even afford that.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have used my C1 through my RNP for acoustic guit and was pleased with the results. I admit I have not tried this combo on either male or female vox... but I wouldn't be adverse to doing so.

My only caution would be that I find the C1 can get a tad sibilant on some vocalists... and the RNP will faithfully pass that along.
