My SM7b hit the deck, anything I should listen for?

So the, er, "talent" managed to knock over the mic stand holding my SM7b TWICE today fuuck. It wasn't that high, but the fall was hard enough to bend the edge of the mic's body (rear end, opposite to the business end). It seems to be working fine, but I'm pretty annoyed anyway. Considering I don't have many mics to begin with, I don't want something to happen to one of my favorites.

I know this thing is built like a brick whatsit, but I'm still a little worried. Anything I should look out for?

If it doesn't sound obviously broken, I'd mostly listen for increased noise floor. If it's comparable to where it was before, don't sweat it.

Dents add character...unless it's a high-$ large diaphragm condenser.

When I was in school, the campus recording studio got a brand new Neumann M149. Within a week of its' arrival, I put it up on OH with a drummer. WAY out of the way of his sticks.

Or so I thought.

One song later, I walk back in from the control room and the mic is featuring a HUGE dent. I didn't hear it during the performance. The drummer didn't remember hitting it (but he felt awful regardless). I didn't notice anything weird about the sound, so I adjusted the mic another couple feet away and kept recording.

Needless to say, the studio professor wasn't too thrilled with me after that...

ummm...signal? just kidding, it should be fine. Sure dynamic mics are usually nice and rugged. Just don't drop it in the toilet!
