whirlwind LBS or what? for studio monitor + subwoofer

Here's the situation, i'm looking to add a pair of Focal CMS monitors to my setup as an extra reference (mackie 824's and genelec 8030a's already in place).
However there's no pass-thru output of any type on the Focals and i'd like to use it with a custom subwoofer that also has no pass-thru.

I'm looking to set the crossover going into the sub at the point where the Focal's response dies off (45 - 55hz depending on focal model, havent decided yet). This is what i do with my Genelecs and KRK sub and it works perfectly.

Would my best option be to use a Whirlwind LBS (Line Balanced Splitter) and send the Direct out to the Focals with the isolated out going to the sub?
