I only use one now. Janglebox. Love it on my Rickenbacker 6+12 stings, but that seems to be the only guitars it is really dialed into. Can easily suck the life out of my Gretsch. A little goes a long way. Also having fun with the Vox AC30 Amplug.

I just got the keeley compressor (2 Knob) - I know people rave over it - but I'm still liking the MXR 74 Script re-issue better - it's bolder.

Am I missing something?

Count me in as a CC fanboi as well. I have one for my live rig, one for my studio. Great sounding analog delay with 600ms, rather than the usual 300ms for these types of delay. Really makes it more versatile.

I also love the Carl Martin Red Repeat, also an analog delay, and the TC Electronic Vintage Delay. Pricey, but really sounds good. I also have an EH Memory Man w/ Hazarai. What can I say, I love delay.

I'll throw my Dunlop 95Q wah and Nobels trem in there. heh

This is cool... seems there's an entire gammut of choices listed here, from the boutique high dollar fancy-scmancy stuff to the low-cost-find-it-in-any-hole-in-the-wall-mom-n-pop-store crap (and I use the word "crap" with reverence, because I love the low cost stuff). From snobs to eccentrics to plug-n-play fx be damned fanatics --- like everything else in music, it's all in the ear of the beholder. Or is that beaudioler...hmmm. I think this is why guitar is so much fun and so popular.

I love delay too , but I dont own a delay pedal , I 've been on Toneczar's list for over a 1 1/2 years , scary how in demand the Echoczar is , I really need to get a good delay in the meantime , just gotta find somewhere to demo MXR's Carbon Copy now .

Makes my list too. It replaced a DD-20 on my board. The DD-20 is great but overkill for what I need.

The Carbon Copy has that darker analog decay that makes it so playable, even at more extreme settings,..

And now for my list:

Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive -- really fine versatile boost pedal for what I do

Fulltone SupaTrem -- the best sounding pedal I own--can be used as a boost to great effect

MXR Carbon Copy

and two that I owned, sold, and miss:

Arion SCH-1 Stereo Chorus--the most ridiculously lush chorus you've ever heard emanating from the cheapest damn pedal

Pigtronix EP-1 Enevelope Phaser. Super terrific, versatile, difficult pedal.

1) Robert Keeley TS9-DX Flexi 4x2... the most ridiculously variable, customizable, great sounding Tube Screamer ever built. Wow.

Robert Keeley Electronics: TS9DX FLEXI-4X2

2) Diamond Memory Lane - any issue. This is the best analog delay pedal I've ever heard or used. A very nice unit.

Diamond Guitar Pedals *I have version 1, but it's still amazing.

Also... to keep this in mind as my MOTU is currently crapping out, and they have HORRIBLE (NON-EXISTENT customer service), both Keeley and Diamond have great people working for them. You can almost always get ahold of someone, and they respond to emails pretty quickly too.

+2 for both of those pedals then. =)

MXR Carbon Copy - killer analog delay; super rad as a pre-delay before my Zerotronics MINI-LE spring reverb; blue LEDs are a bit bright though
Dunlop 535Q Wah
E-H Big Muff Pi USA

I just got an MXR '74 Phase 90, but haven't had a chance to really put it through it's paces. I like what I hear so far.

Also I have a Vox Satchurator on the way (should be here next week), and am looking forward to checking that out.

that's just like asking the top 5 records. changes all the time. but let's see

1. ibanez ts - it just works
2. woolly mammoth - crazy bass distortion done right. works great on guitar too
3. catalinbread teaser stallion - I love their pedals, this one does weird things :P
4. catalinbread super chili picoso - great clean od!
5. big muff - classic
6. boss syb-5 - it never does what it's supposed to do, but you can have a lot of fun with it...

I also loved the boss digital metal pedal. there is no real use for it, but it did sound mean.
