Maestro FZ-1A
Orpheum Fuzz
Foxx Tone Machine
Mayer Axis Fuzz (this one is great because it is somewhere between a distortion and fuzz)
Fuzz Face (can be great, but all the new production ones suck)

I like fuzz. Each or these has it own character and appropriate application. The Big Muff is a little too generic to my ears. For studio work I'm not a big believer in overdrive pedals unless it is being used solely to push an amp harder, or if the amp is a total piece of ****. If I want distortion I crank the amp and if necessary drive it with a booster.

For cleanish tones, MXR Dyna Comp is great.

To my ears none of the Dunlop, Morley, or Vox wahs are worth buying; without modding they all sound pretty crappy. The Real Mccoy wahs are about the best production wahs I have heard.

I've owned some two dozen pedals in the ten years I've played guitar, but my favorite would have to be...

...the Peterson Strobostomp.

If you're a stickler for tuning - which I definitely am during recording sessions - then it's great. And it's durable enough for stage use.

Of course, I play through an AC30, so every pedal sounds nice heh

I have an old (80's?) MXR phaser that is not a little "pillbox with a button" like all the others. It is kinda big, modern angular shape, black w/ yellow letters and no model #, and has a square pad-type of footswitch that says MXR, and red and yellow LED's to indicate FX on/off. Two knobs for "speed" and "regeneration"; two outputs on rear for stereo. Does anybody know anything about this?

1) i love the Electro harmonix deluxe memory man.
2)I also have the Eh holy grail reverb on quite frequently.
3) For a couple of years i lived on the Big Muff Pi, now i dont use it much any more. Style has chenged a bunch i guess.... Still an amazing Pedal. Seems to do magical things in my opinion.....
4) Lately i have been using a germanium transistorized fuzz pedal called "the Sweet" by a company called Frantone. This Pedal is too large for its own good. Its great on basss guitar.. Seriously unreal.....

Ugly Face!
ZVEX FuzzFactory
PHI-SCION3
T. Rex Replica (is the best pedal delay)
+ there really are so many great others once you start getting into the companies that make them out their living room/ garage/ etc.

Who else has an ugly face?
