Hooking Filter up into soundcard/cubase

Hello,

I just bought a Electrix Filter Factory

I want to hook it up to my rig.

I am using emu 1820 & ada8000 i have a few free inputs and a few free outputs on it right now.

How can i hook this filter up so it will be over all my gear, not just 1 unit. I want to be able to filter anything anytime i want without changing re-wiring and be able to record into cubase.

Please explain this to me as if i knew nothing...

I think what i need to do is go from the back of the filter L & R to the soundcard and then back from the sound card into the filter. then create a strip on the emu 1820 like a send & return channel. But then im confused...

Thank YOu!!
