Dis mudderdugger needs a London recommendation

I is going to be in London next week, starting Feb. 10.

I need some Londoner GS advice about interesting places to eat and hang out.

I dig fish and seafood, good Brit food and gastropub check-outs. Also need a rec. for environment with flouncy London babes.

My pocketbook will withstand any hit.

Please advise if possible.

Thank you,

Phlush

Hello Plush!

Fish Welcome to ZilliAldo.com - Zilli Fish in Soho

Posh - The Oxo Tower Brasserie - nice view of the Thames but not strictly Brit Food
(Go via the Harvey Nicks website) Welcome to Harvey Nichols. New Spring/Summer 09 now available online and in store.

Excellent French restaurant (sorry to be OT again) - VILLANDRY - French Restaurant, Bar & Foodstore (close to Broadcasting House and Oxford Street)

Thank you, Blast!

You have read my mind with your outstanding suggestions.

I am a freak for French as well as the fantastic views and neighborhoods you suggest.

I am interested in music clubs as well.

with appreciation,

Plushy-Phonic

One of the best muddderdugging clubs for acoustic music with said floozies by the half-dozen at least -

The Cobden Club, 170 Kensal Road - near Portobello Road/Notting Hill

(Tuesday and Wednesdays for slightly different flavas)

Also The Distillers Arms in Hammersmith has high quality stuff

Jazz -

Apparently the 606 club in Chelsea is the mutts nuts - I must admit I've never been but the calibre of musos there is tops

Ronnie Scotts in Soho of course

-

Lemme think of some more
