I have a Eela Audio S120 series mixing console for 8 modules. The S120 modular mixer comes standard with full length P&G conductive plastic faders and balanced inputs and outputs. A variety of modules makes it possible to meet your requirements. As there are:

S121 : Microphone / line input
S122 : Stereo Line input
S123 : Mono Line input with return output (Telco module)
S124 : Master output with compressor / limiter
S125 : Master with separate faders for L and R
S126 : Auxiliary / Oscillator / Talkback
S127 : 12- way selector module
S128 : Monitor module with LED PPM

Main connections are made with XLR's for in- and outputs, with 1/4" jacks for the inserts and secondary signals. The capacity of the separate power supply used depends on the number of channels in the chassis.

Available frame sizes:

S120CH11 Main frame 19" / 10HE for 11 modules
S120CH8 Main frame for 8 modules, 320 mm
S120CH12 Main frame for 12 modules, 480 mm
S120CH18 Main frame for 18 modules, 720 mm
S120CH24 Main frame for 24 modules, 960 mm
S120CH30 Main frame for 30 modules, 1200 mm

If I can help just let me know....

Hi! I´ve been wondering too should I buy a Eela s440 console or not... How do you like yours?
I know it´s made for broadcasting but I plan to use it for music recording and most importantly, to mixing. I have several good preamps (Studer, ANT, Kajaani and such) but I lack a bigger quality mixer that has parametric EQ on every channel and I´m tired of my current "modular" setup made of three chained smaller mixers. Has the s440 versions changed over the years? I think the newest version is digital controlled analog, but I think that the one for sale is older...
Any info is welcome!

How's the S120 sound? What kind of preamp topology does it use? Is it very quiet? Anything else worth of more? Hows the EQ?

I have just bought two Eela S120 mixers.
one with 8 S121: Microphone / line inputs and 8 S122: Stereo Line inputs.
The other mixer only has S122: Stereo Line inputs.
Both mixers are in the S120CH18 Main frame for 18 modules, 720 mm
Each input and output has neutrick transformers.

and I bought them for 500 dollars

Both mixers have a compressor and a limiter in the master section that can be used.
Plus a talkback section module.
Both mixers have two Sterio AUX outputs.

I have cleaned, and started testing the first mixer and just sent some tracks through it, and I have to say that sounds reeeal good. I record some blues, rock, jazz, and for me, the table has all the qualities I need.
instrument sounds '' airier '' and with more '' distance ''
EQ is also really usable even though it only has three bands.

(I have not listened so much so I can probably be more accurate in my statements later, same with the micpreamp)

(I run a hybrid setup where I treat my laptop as a tape recorder and do almost all mix OTB. But with more precise EQ maneuvers, automation, and editing, I'm ITB)

I will use the mixers for recording and mixing, one of which will probably be returns from compressors and other effects.

Because there is so little information about them here, I will upload some recorded material and photos on them when everything is done.
anyone else who has information about these mixers? mods? would be very grateful if you could share your experiences because they seem to be VERY GOOD ...
(maybe writing information about something else that sounds similar) and is probably one of those little hidden gems that people want for digital recordings that sound too clean.

There will soon be pictures and sound clips on everything so you can also get an idea about the mixer.

Cheers / Jonas L from Sweden.
