There's some information about the company and a few of the models they make (or re-make, as the case may be) here:

Advanced Audio Microphones | RecordingHacks.com

A nice site in general.

There's a HUGE thread in the Low end forum about these guys from a year ago or so. The good, the bad and the ugly.

I just received a 47 from AA. It sounds great on my vocals. I like it. The only complaint from me is about the rubber feet coming unstuck from the bottom of the power supply. I received a speedy reply from Dave.

I got the cm47 and i like it a lot. omni sounds great.

I had the same problem with the rubber feets - not a big deal for me... I just glue them back.

I have all of his mics and love them. The tube mics and the Fet 47 are all amazing. I have used them with a number of vintage mics and korby with the interchangeable capsule and manely mics and they are holding there own all the time if not beating them.

I haven't noticed any of the rubber feet coming off of the power supplies but that wouldn't bother me if they did. I have a bunch of extras in the studio becasue those things come off of everything. So when it happens to any peice of gear I just replace them.

There's a good review of the CM47 in the new Tape Op.

Me too. Mine came with only one attached. I was to receive an envelop with three more, but never did. No big deal really. A trip to Lowes fixed that.

How does the Tube CM-47 sound against the CM-47 Fet?

the Tube is big and fat. Warm and round. Smooth

The fet is just a really great LDC. Alot of body.
