Yup. I do it that way on purpose. I don't trade off sound quality ever- in fact some of my convolution stuff uses brute-force convolving for purer math- but I'm good at not wasting CPU.

When I did my Verbs bundle (which are designed to be run in series or parallel if you want) I did a lot of de-C++ing and streamlining of the code execution- not in terms of making the written code look more elegant, but in terms of making the thing run real fast- which led to each _reverb_ taking about a third the CPU of DUY Tape... how's that?
