Need help connecting a subwoofer...

I just bought a used Tannoy TS10 and I have a question. How do I need to route this with my Big Knob? If I'm coming out of the analog outs of my Rosetta and then into the stereo ins of my sub and then out of the sub into the Big Knob (then from there to my monitors) - I have no volume control over my Sub. Do I need to go from my Rosetta into the Bigknob, then come out of the Bigknob into the sub then back into the Bigknob on a different stereo channel? That seems like a long path for stuff to degrade...

Go stereo out of the Rosetta to the BigKnob, then out of the BigKnob to the sub, then out of the sub to the monitors. The sub will separate the low freqs via its crossover and pass the rest of the signal to the monitors. Then you will have control of volume.
