Reamp: Fender Hot Rod DeVille

Does anyone know what level the preamp out jack is on a Hot Rod DeVille? Is it line level? Is it too hot to run back into one of my preamps? Just don't want to fry something. I checked the manual, and it doesn't say anywhere.

It is made for that. it should be in your manual. it's in the hot rod manual and the pre amp section is the same as the deville. it's not in the specs, it's at the beginning where they explain wich feature coresponds to wich number.
there are 3 ways you can use pre amp out on a deluxe or deville.
1-to send to any effect and return to power amp in.
2-to send to power amp in of say another deville to run 2 amps
3-to send for recording or sound renforcement.
i've done it.
just turn down the imput trim on your interface first, then adjust it to taste, of course it doesn't sound as good as micing the speakers.heh

Thanks, I actually read that part, but all it says is to send to recording equipment. It doesn't say how. Do you go straight into your interface as you would from any other preamp?
