From about 10.00 - 16.00. Maybe some production at the evening.

Start work at 7:30, come home at 17:00, eat, spend time with my girlfriend (play house), studiotime: 20:00 till.....??? (most of the time like 01:00)

I often like to be at the studio by 6am. I mix better in the mornings and I'm more alert and willing to do the mundane editing and cleaning up stuff. Tracking can be later, as long as the setup/soundcheck happens earlier.

Definatly a night owl. My sessions usually don't start until 2p.m., and I'm usually right in the zone between 8p.m. and 2a.m.

I like to get up and go to work. I am in the studio 10am-6pm. At the end of the day it is "me" time.

I prefer to work with others in the morning and afternoon. When I'm working on my own and doing pre-production, and sequencing its always best after midnight.

I lately found out for myself that the quality of work is better in the morning than in the late afternoon or evening, although a good dinner makes a big difference for evening gigs!

Total Vampire. Very early in my career, I worked the graveyard shift at a big studio in NYC and I've never really been able to reprogram myself without eventually slipping back into that schedule. I can force myself to work in the mornings but I'm never happy about it. I definitely still do my best work at night and into the wee hours.

In the winter I am am more productive working in the morning and afternoon. In the summer I switch slowly to evenings and nights.

I want to record at whatever time the artist is going to perform the best.

If I'm mixing and its up to me to set the schedule, I prefer saytime.
