I am Bevvy.
What do you mean by "The Road" ?
Travelling or Gigging?
I am in Berlin right now - using my 12" as a travelling companion. The built-in wireless is coming in handy - there are a few Wifi Hotspots here. The size is great - I don't think twice about carrying it around. Its main use on the trip is as for photo storage.

But I did buy it as a portable sequencer/soft synth station to use in my live rig. So - I'll let you know how that goes eventually.

Currently the only caveat is that there seems to be a problem with some optical drives and the alignment. After a month or so of use - I popped in a CD and it won't come out - plus there is no hidden physical eject meachanism! My apple authorized repair guy said this is somewhat common and requires a return trip to apple. :(
I'm going to do this after I return.

But I still recommend the machine highly. In fact...I LOVE IT
