But the Tascam US 16x08 is actually a 16 analog channel converter! 8 mic preamps PLUS 2 Instrument/Line inputs AND 6 Line inputs w/switchable level -10/+4. I sill have not found any other converter with 16 analog converters anywhere near $300!

If you want to record a full band live, look no further.
