Does anyone here have any experience with the RL-10? I'm wondering how it might compare with something like the BA-6A...

I've got no idea, but I've never come across anything that's quite like a BA-6A that's functional and working correctly.

Never seen one but am familiar with the circuit. The input (variable gain) tube is a pentagrid, similar in theory to the Gates SA-38/SA39 family.
Output stage is internally balanced, wrapped in feedback, as found in BA-6a or the Gates units. Should sound powerful and clean.
Overall, looks excellent.
