1 Giant Leap for recording kind?

hey,

Does anybody know what gear the 1 Giant Leap lads used on their 6 month odyssey to make the CD/DVD. I know they used a Pismo Powerbook running Logic, and I have seen a TLM 103 in pictures inside the CD cover. Apparently they had a battery powered mixer, but I would be keen to know if they had any battery powered outboard (pres, compressors, etc) because the whole album sounds awesome. Michael Stipe's vocals have never sounded so good. I think the album shows great use of dynamics, and the whole album tends to breath from song to song. A fresh approach considering the over-compressed state of modern music.

Any comments, anyone?
