Yep. But there's a reason most designers shy away from the ***** behind the engineer' - it's almost impossible to not have the audio fire back at you. Sounds like Dave Martin did it right, but most rooms don't.
Well, I remember Glenn Meadows complaining about it, so the next time I was in the Tracking room, I looked at the racks there. They are almost horizontal, which wouldn't work for me, but I tried to make the angles of the racks as steep as I could. The best part about them for me, though, is that the bottom piece of gear is high enough that I can read the settings...

You're in luck, I'm intimately familiar with the sand-filling procedure. I had about 13 yards of "reject" sand dumped next to the site for $100, and every day when the masons finished up a new tier of block, my shift started.
Reject sand? What is that and where do you find it? Was it rejected play sand or something?

You would need to use a 'tinkle meter' on play sand before passing it 'safe' for use.dfegad

I called the building material supply place that the masons ordered their mortar sand from. It looks the same, but had some coarser grade stuff mixed in, might be what's left on the bottom of the pile. Good mortar sand or play/ beach sand was more than twice the price. I ordered a bit short but we had to clean up the extra sand the masons had leftover, as well as what was dug out from the footers, so into the walls it went.
