Langevin Dual Vocal Combo

Anybody here using it?

What about the pres and EQs? I think they're supposed to be be almost identical to the original Langevin AM-4 channel strip, but having not heard this, I don't know what to compare them to... I have heard the limiter section is a little slow so not so good on transients. Hmmm.

I'm looking for a flexible preamp that would be useful for both tracking and mixdown. Since I already have EQs and a limiter I'm more or less satisfied with, I was thinking about going with the Crane Song Flamingo. I want two channels and don't have the cash for two (!) Vipres --- so what about this box? Other suggestions?

A great choice IMO...also, the Phoenix Audio DRS-2 is also very flexible and I find that I am able to use it on a lot of different sources without hesitation.
