how to exchange a studio console into rack

Hey everyone I have a situation that many might have also have previously experienced:

I’m moving out of my studio into a new studio where I will only be able to occupy a medium sized table. Currently I have a Soundcraft ghost and a rack of outboard gear and I think I will need to get rid of the ghost. (I’m a composer, not a producer so I usually don’t occupy more than 16 channels)

I’m trying to figure out what would be the best bang for my buck as a replacement instrument or instruments that can mix 16 line level signals preferably have eq and auxes but not necessarily:

For example I’ve had my eyes on the speck xsum and in combination with the eq16 or 316 would provide me with something similar at a way smaller profile. Or the neve 8816 makes even more sense as it has direct outs... etc

What do y’all think would be a good way to exchange a console into a rack without shelling out big bucks for an ssl sigma??
