Hi, I'm looking to utilize a multi-amp setup for a few projects here and I'm researching solutions which can accommodate 3 to 5 guitar amps. The Little Labs PCP looks like a solid solution for a three amp setup - what other options are out there?
Thanks, chuddy - the LL has the ability to flip polarity on each output and also lift ground. It looks like the Rane is a little more basic ( the B looks to be out of production - I looked at the S).
Ahh, yes - the Radial JD7 - should have looked at them initially - thanks!
No worries. I myself am just starting to venture into getting a setup for amps as well. My brother has ended up with a collection of amps and we are about to start tracking some stuff shortly after I am done revamping my acoustics in my room. I would love to be able to have a distro box and that was the first one I saw that seemed to fit the bill for me. Let me know if you go this route and how you like it. Very curious to hear!
I have been using the Radial Switchbone for years to do 2 or 3 amps. I just ordered the JD7 but havent received it yet. In most cases I personally prefer the sound of mulitple amps together.
in addition to splitting to multiple amps another useful technique is to have the same guitar amp feed multiple speaker cabinets and place them around the room in various ways
