which mic pre should I buy?

I am thinking about buying a mic pre,but I don't know which one is suitable.

What about TL Audio 2 Fat?And Focusrite Track Pro? Which is better?

BTW,One guy told me that Track pro and Voice Master pro got the same tone.(They got the same core.) The latter one is expensive because it got some extra function. It that true?

I am about to use it to record some vocal.Almost got no chances to record instruments.

Any suggestion?

THX!

Why not just get a wireless mic with a receiver that outputs line level. That way we can stop arguing about mic-pre-amps....

If you want all the bells and whistles of the focusrite then take a look at the joe meek 3Q, much much nicer sounding than the focusrite stuff. If you need two channels and want a really clean sound then get an maudio dmp3.
