Blown Fuse Question

Musicman 65 fuse blew. The spent fuse says 125Volts, 5 amp, 3AG
I am going to have to order a fuse and want to make sure I get the right kind. Should I go with a slow fuse or not? The back of the amp does not specify. I can't find any fuses in my town here in Alaska so am going to have to order one. Any recommendations on a good source?

Radio Shack should be able to get you a box or package of the right fuses.

When you replace the fuse, start by turning the amp on in standby, see if it holds.

If it holds when you turn the amp on fully, watch the power tubes for any sign
of red plating. If it just blows the fuse again, I'd test the power tubes first.
