2-input, Single-Channel Guitar Amp Question

I've never thought of this before, but a new pedal I bought raises the question.

A reverb pedal has 2 outs, one a dry signal, the other a wet signal. They are going into a single-channel amp with 2 inputs, dry signal = input 1, wet = input 2. I run pedals after the dry signal then into the amp, wet signal runs straight into amp.

The question is, will this setup sound any different than the dry signal + pedals into a reverb pedal with a single output then into the amp? I guess it's an analog summing question - combining the signals in the amp versus before the amp.

The VanAmps Solemate (single output) vs Reverbamate (2 outputs) made me contemplate this and if the 2 pedals would/could sound any different.
