amp- no sound

Marshall DSL 401- powers on, doesn't make a sound. not a hiss, hum, like dead, but on light is on. Haven't taken it in yet, just curious for some thoughts on possible things wrong. Anyone?
Thanks

Total long shot and sure you checked this already, but are you sure the 1/4" jack for the internal speaker didn't get unplugged from it's jack? If that 1/4" plug is plugged in, male sure the terminals ok the actual speaker didn't get messed up and disconnected somehow.

There should be a pair of fuses in that amp, most likely the second fuse (NOT the one connected to the amp's power) has blown. I've had this problem with Marshalls before. Check both fuses and replace em if they've blown.

Best of luck!

Be careful about running it if there is no load going to the speaker.

Check: Fuses, preamp tubes V1 first.
