dd2 dd3 dd5 dd6 dd7 rv2 rv3 rv5

hello

could you make some clearness about boss delays?

i would like to hear a description of all models.. to know the differences about sound and maybe peculiar functions.. cool functions, funny functions.. i don't know

i don't know which buy.. i've tried the rv3 and i like it.. the only think i don't like is that when you turn the time knob you don't have any kind of "feedback", i mean you don't understand how much the delay becomes slower or faster like in a memory man or in a digidelay.. you hear just some glitch and hope you'll find the right time.

i would like a delay with the hold function, reverse, and tap tempo.. but i would also like to know something about the sound and usability.

the dd3 seems the same as dd2

If you have the money, get an eventide timefactor.

DD6 is the same as the DD3 with a bit more options, like reverse.

DD2 and DD5 are discontinued, and supposedly have better sound, and are highly sought after.

Just because something sounds better to one person doesn't mean it sounds better to another. I'm sure if you search places like youtube and harmony central you'll find reviews of the things you're asking about.

The early digital delays (DSD-2/3, DD-2, and early DD-3s) sound a little warmer than the later models. I would just go with the most current model: DD-7. It has the most features including an analog mode for warmer sounding delays. You can read about all the models here: BossArea - Boss Product Reference
