I am sorry to hear about your fader. We did indeed make an adjustment to the motorized faders on the X32 after the earlier production runs that have eliminated all issues with the fader belt. It is possible that even though you bought the console in December of 2013, the dealer may have had older stock.
Of course, no products are 100% resistant to failure and our CARE team is here to help in the rare event of a problem .
