Big fan of the pedal and rack unit of this chorus and i use it with all kinds of synths. The pedal has a trim for input level and i never had a problem.

I would not describe it as thick and analog like a typical chorus however. It is more light and airy, almost reverb like. I remember being disappointed first due to this because of my expectation was similar to yours.

Edit: pedal is not stereo, but mono in stereo out. Full stereo you need the rack. Or go for an elkorus unit whis is thick and warm and stereo.
