Just remember that these "odd duck" guitars that no one wants are usually the ones that become valuable 30-40 years later. Not saying that this will be such a guitar, but one never knows!
Of course, if you need the cash from a potential sale to get a guitar that you will actually play, then go for it (I always think of guitars as tools first, then works of art, then investments dead last; I'd rather have a useful tool than something that's just taking up space in the closet). If you are flush with cash and have the storage space, then consider holding on to it for a bit longer.
