About the new MFB Tanzbaer, it seems it really has more features then meet the eye or than I had expected, and all pretty accessible through a really good and simple interface, I was quite surprised
Technically, I think it's at least the same or a better price ratio than the Korgs if you think about it, which is surprising for a boutique company
and lets not forget this Korg stuff was presented in a pretty smart way again
with images that would let you anticipate more then there really is
They did the same with the Mono"tribe" which in peoples imagination was
all 3 boxes combined plus some, when it really was just a one way gimmick
I mean these 3 boxes are less then what in peoples wild dreams the Monotribe was, and these boxes will face the same fate: collecting dust, then sold or thrown away
The Tanzbar is probably a cool machine yah.. but who knows, maybe you'll change your mind about that too in another 48 hours, after you've heard more demo's.
I don't recognize your story about the things you're imagining the boxes to be. My imagination was actually pretty spot on, based on the images, and if there were differences, they were for the better.
So i'm basing my opinion on what information is available right now, not on what i imagined them to be.. and maybe that makes all the difference
