but the last few axxes weve sold (for around that price) were refurbished units and not your typical "works fine" (=probably has undisclosed problems) auctions or CL sales. in the end, we invested a lot of time and money into them. if you consider our initial cost for the item + the cost of professional packing and shipping to get them to us + the amount of time and money spent servicing them, thoroughly cleaning them, meticulously testing and retesting them, marketing them, packing and shipping them, etc, and then the fact that, as a business, we pay taxes on our profits (as opposed to the typical private seller who often doesnt), it wasnt really worth it from a business perspective.
