Not to be pedantic, but I did read the entire manual for 4.x, 5.x, 7.x and 9.x. That doesn't mean I have 100% comprehension or that I even pored over every detail, but certain sections like the introduction to Logic's objective nature sure do make things a lot clearer when using the app.
But that's still besides the point, the issue isn't "RTFM" to every question, it's that when people say "but App Y does Z why can't Logic be EXACTLY the same?" and 4 people point out various alternatives people still go "well it would still be better if it worked like <ProTools, Live, FruityLoops, Rebirth, Ancient Stone Megaliths etc>" which gets to be very droll after a while.
There are other things in Logic that could stand being fixed/updated (like the GUI when heavy latency is introduced via plugins as per the other thread atm) but making it magically work like App Y/Z without you even bothering to look through the key commands & learn a few more Logic tools shouldn't be a top priority imo.
