I have. I was severely lacking in sleep when i wrote that but i was trying to make sense of why some say there's no bass whereas some say there's plenty of bass (why i bought 'em), adequate bass or shake-your-bones sub bass.

It could be a room issue but in that position the low end sounded natural. I could hear the transient of the kick and low bass notes were well defined. It's not just that though, i've been playing with different setups and the further back i am the better the low end extension.

Btw this in on commercial and sample cds, my own stuff sounds fine and translates well which doesn't really make sense apart from the fact that where i can hear the bass is where i sit when tracking!
