yes, thank god! NS10s are terrible things. they filled a niche gap because they were the best at the time. and they weren't even studio products, they were failed home stereo speakers that became marketed for studios when a couple of famous engineers "learned" them and started taking them with them when mixing at different studios so they'd have the same reference speakers everywhere. They do mix well, but they kill your ears and are not pleasant to listen to in any way. harsh, lacking in bass, painful.
very much like hs80s up close to your face. but the 80s are much easier to listen to compared to ns10s.
NS10S are NOT good speakers. they require extensive "learning" to be used for mixing. it's much easier to adjust to real monitors than those things imho.
You certainly CAN work on NS10s, plenty of people have. But there are much better choices, and the HS80 series are better imho.
