Hi guys. Just a quick comment on one thing that was said here I will try to comment further on some other things when I have a chance... I just wanted to say real quick that I in fact did do a blind test with the remote engaged and disengaged in my CS once I got the remote and couldn't tell the difference. I would say the change in sound was close to imperceptable. To be precise, I will say that I used the original 12 ft. cable of the thicker variety and not the more flexible and newer 20 ft. cable and I also touched up both contact ends with Caig Pro-Gold (not that I feel that is a requirement, I just always do that to all connectors as an initial treatment when they enter my studio). I don't disbelieve the above comment about the remote doing something in that particular person's setup, it just isn't typical based on my own experience. There must be an issue with that one.
