I (finally) use an Avocet, but I had a Central Station from just about the day it hit the streets. I thought it was quite decent. The first bunch had a problem with the pots and needed to be replaced - But after that, they held together pretty well.

I had no high-end crunch or sizzle with mine... Actually, I was pretty surprised with the converters. Plus, it had that "A or B + C" switching (which the Avocet doesn't even have) that made switching between two pairs of monitors utilizing the same subwoofer possible.
