I just installed one for a high end client. It sounds pretty good. But I hooked up the optical out from the G5 to the Central Station so we could evaluate 3 mastering refs using iTunes. Everything sounded very crunchy with a strange high end sizzle that was not present in the original mixes, which we were playing back through Pro Tools. I thought it was mastering. When I listened at home, I heard no such crunch. I have to assume it was the Central Station converters. Other than that, it's very cool. I have the Coleman Audio M3 myself.
