thanks man ! yeah i try to change it up a lot, i try to never go for a specific sound but see where the track leads me.

it's funny i have a standard setup i kinda of leave setup all the time in my personal room.

telefunken m82 in the kick, bock u195 fet on the front bass drum head, beyer 201 on the snare, some clip on e602 tom mics, then usually my r88 or coles over the kit...and some mics out in the room.

i usually have that stuff all setup and plugged in and when i want to change out the sound i swap out kits or just snares or cymbals.

i also really like working in other rooms and trying other gear. i end up buying a lot of gear just because i used it at a studio and really loved what it did.
