My current 16A is still working beautifully, so I'm not going to be switching to the new one, but it does look nice. The biggest question for me is how the CueMix app works as compared to the browser-based Pro Audio Control platform the 16A has used for years. I've always found Pro Audio Control to be incredibly powerful, but not user friendly. It took ages to get my studio working properly with all of the routing options I wanted in Pro Audio Control, and more than once it's lost all of my settings and had to be rebuilt. If CueMix is more user friendly and stable that will be a huge win. The images I've seen of it look more aesthetically pleasing with the patchbay connections and more modern GUI. Hopefully that translates to a better user experience on the software end of things.
Yeah the usability of Pro Audio Control has been so bad. I basically got my setup where I needed it and never touch itβ¦.so it would be nice to be able to get in there and quickly switch things up for different configurations
